Norwich Camera Company was conceived on March 20th, 2021 with the goal to offer various photography services and items: shirts, leather camera straps, cameras + accessories, camera repair, and more.
"We’re not joking....we want to build cameras and we want to build an open studio for other photographers."

Fast forward to March 20th, 2022 and that goal of opening a studio was becoming a reality. A space opened up next to one of our drop-off and shopping storefronts, Midnight Aether, and after many discussions it was a perfect starting point for the studio space we wanted to offer. 

We are happy to announce our Grand Opening for the new studio on April 1st, 2022 from 5-8pm during Downtown Norwich's First Friday.  We will be doing a LIVE demonstration of the Wet Plate Collodion process!  This will be a heavily discounted wet plate session perfect for couples or individuals wanting to see the process.  Each session will be $30 and you will be given a 3x4" tin type plate with 2 images side by side on the same plate.

We'll be showing off the space and chatting about what we plan to offer - photography sessions, rental space for other photographers, special student photographer hours, educational events, and more.
NCC will still be offering all your favorites still: camera repair, film + camera sales, film developing + negative scanning, NCC merch, etc. with more items always being added and offered.
